Finally

Today was my first day not taking my medicine. I started to think I was normal. The baby should be growing nicely, but the doctor said at this point the placenta takes over producing progesterone, therefore the medicine is not needed.

James' First Ultrasound

Today, James decided to go with me to my doctor's appointment. I think he went with me because I was so nervous and fearful. The entire night before I just prayed and remembered what all I have to be thankful for. When we got to the doctors office, James got to meet the doctor and nurses and see how nice they all are. As the doctor got ready for the ultrasound, I prepared myself. That is when I heard James say WOW! The baby has grown so much. As I started to laugh, it was like the baby woke up and began to move around. He/she decided to give us a little show today. James was such a proud papa. I'm so glad he came with me today. At nine weeks, we are moving right along.

Little Heartbeat

Today, I could actually see a little heartbeat and a small head. The baby is very small, but everything is developing correctly. I am 7 weeks, 5 days which suprised me, but I'll take it. I was so excited to show James the picture of how much our baby has changed. Next appointment in 2 weeks.
