What a day!!!

So James did some things today that I was surprised by. The first one was reaching into his crib saying "get me" talking about his pacifier. He wanted me to get him his pacifier. I kept telling him no and he kept trying to get it by reaching into his crib. The second thing was James took a piece of trash (Imani's snack bag) and threw it in the trash can. My brother niece and I were so surprised.

This morning James was telling the baby to give me my keys. Jimmy turned around to hand me the keys and said "No" We were so shocked and surprised, but I don't think he quite understands what no means yet. BUT someday he will.

Breastfeeding

So yesterday I did not breastfeed James at all. I mean not one single bit, I mean not even when he was falling asleep. For bedtime James had his milk and then cried and then I just sang and rocked him some and off he went to dream land. Yes, James can now dream (newborns do not)!

So smart

It is so nice to have a healthy, smart, intellectual child. As I'm walking up to mom's house this afternoon James starts saying Mom-Mom. It was so cute that he knew that we were at my mom's house. When James saw mom he said Mom-Mom. Love it!!!!!

4th of July

Today was the 4th and we celebrated by going out to dinner. We had a cookout on Friday so we really didn't want cookout food. We went to Bonefish Grill and then everyone came over our house to go swimming. They had a good time. Jimmy did not go swimming because he was sleep and then it was too hot out! My mom, Jimmy and I played inside!
