Phillies

Jimmy went to his first live sporting event. Tonight, we went to the Phillies game. We sat in great seats. Jimmy ended up falling asleep at the game towards the 5th inning. I don't know how you can sleep at a game, but I guess he gets it from me who can fall asleep anywhere!

Food

Now the fun beginnings. James had his first real food ( if you consider oatmeal cereal watered down with breat milk food) tonight. He was looking at it like "what is this." I think he was thinking this does not taste as well as food smells. He ended up wearing more than he eats.

Ocean AGAIN

Jimmy was in the ocean again. I think this is the third time he was in the ocean this summer and the third beach he was on. I think he was thinking what is this gritty stuff. The water was so warm that James sat down on the beach and watched the waves roll in with Jimmy in his lap. At one point a big wave came in and got Jimmy a little in the face. He was not too happy, but still did not cry. I could have stayed on the beach all day. We went back to the hotel, because Jimmy was tired and we didn't have any real shade for him. For those of you who don't know you cannot use sunblock until 6 months of age and he is only 4 1/2. We also left because my three year old nephew was scared to get in the ocean because there are sharks in the water. To be young an innocent. Once at the hotel we went to the pool where Jimmy ate and fell asleep. What a life!

Handsome

Jimmy looked so handsome in his suit. He will never remember wearing it to going to a funeral in Florida at this time, but he looked good if I do say so myself!

Girlfriends

So, while I was in Florida I had a chance to see one of my closest friends. We ended up seeing each other in December while we were both pregnant. Her daughter is about 6 weeks older than James. I did not expect to see her so soon, but I had the opportunity and I seized it. James was so good (as usual) while Cynthia was holding him. We had to give her other daughter some attention because of course we were there to see the new baby.

Airplane

Jimmy's first airplane ride went very well. As a matter of fact when we got off the plane people were surprised that there was a baby on board because he didn't cry. James and I were so proud of him.

4 Month Visit

James took his shots like a champ. He was given one oral vaccine and 2 shots (one in each leg). The first leg he did not cry at all and the second leg, I think she stuck him a little hard and he cried. He is now 14 pounds 4 ounces (29.28 %). His height is 24 inches (11.96 %) and his head is 16.5 (34.22 %). The nurse said again he is not the biggest or tallest of the bunch.

Shore

This weekend, we went to Atlantic City over night to get in our last piece of summer. Jimmy felt the water and did not even flinch. He was adorable as he watched the waves come in and out. Later that evening, James made me get a massage while walking on the boardwalk. Personally, I like Ocean City, Maryland boardwalk better.

Alone with Daddy

I was at work today and Jimmy is with his daddy. I refused to call and check in because I knew that everything would be okay. James is watching him along with his Nana!
