Zoo

Today was James' first visit to the Philadelphia Zoo. He had a really good time looking at the animals. He really tried to bang on the glass of the reptiles. It was a shame the cats were sleeping.

Chuck E CHHHEEESSSEE

We took James to see the mouse at Chuck E Cheese (although the mouse was not there). We took him on a weeknight because we wanted to do something since his grandma from Germany was in town. I think his favorite game was skee ball. He couldn't play but he tried to throw the ball! How cute!

Swim Club

Today we went to a swim club where James' bosses daughter(Dana) works. She has been asking us to come all summer so we finally had a little time and went. The water was cold (I guesss because this wee it was not 90 degrees all week), but he still got in and played. It was a really nice family afternoon. We were going to go to Peddler's Village and walk around afterward but as soon as we got in the car James went to sleep.

15 Month

James had his 15 month doctors appointment. Everything went well. He weighed 20 pounds 9.8 ounces and was 30.25 inches and a head circumference of 18.5 inches. He's so tiny. The doctor and I discussed his diet and for me to give him more meal more often to help him pick up some weight.

Cookies for breakfast

This morning during breakfast James saw his cookies on the table. He proceeded to reach out and ask for a cookie. I told him and showed his is breakfast food and said "We eat breakfast foods for breakfast and do not eat cookies." He looked at me and said "Ohh" and proceeded to eat his breakfast. My jaw dropped because he completely understood. Smart cookie :-)

Vacation 2010

Jimmy was the star of our vacation well the entire cruise! He had a blast. It was so funny that everyone on the ship knew his name. I mean people would ocme up to me and say "Hi James." I was thinking how do you know who my son is. He did everything from swim to make friend to play with people to high five to hand shake to smile to frown. He grew up so much on this trip. We went to San Juan, Puerto Rico where Jimmy fell alsleep on the tour. Then we traveled to St. Thomas and did some shopping, then Dominican Republic. In DR we climbed this trial (which felt like a mountain) to see these waterfalls. They were beautiful. Jimmy got in the water there but it was cold and I don't think he like it. The waterfall was amazing (another experience for Jimmy). I think the best part was the beach in Haiti. Jimmy loved the water he spent hours on the beach just having fun!!! I brought his beach toys and he just played and played. It was a wonderful 9 day cruise followed up by 2 days in VA at a family reunion. The funniest thing though on the way to Baltimore James stayed awake even in the dark until we arrived at the hotel (2.5 hrs). On the way back from Virginia James slept (5 hrs) the entire time. So funny to me!
