Christmas 2012

As usual we had a great Christmas.  Jessica enjoyed opening presents and she didn't care who's they were.  This is the first Christmas Uncle Shawn was not here, but we still moved on.  We spent the nigth at mom's like we always do and then we enjoyed the day.  Jimmy got his pillow pet and a tablet from mom.  Jessica got a bunch of dolls (of course black).  Dinner was the normal delicious stuff.  On Christmas Eve when we saw the luminaries it was fresh snow on the ground and it was beautiful. 

I can't read

Tonight after reading Jimmy 4 stories he picks up a book/magazine and starts to read it. He begin reading (pretending) and all of sudden stops. I ask him what is wrong twice because he was just sitting there and he says "Mommy I cannot read" I almost cried. I put him in my lap and told him " Mommy is a reading teacher and I will teach you to read."

sleepover

Jimmy had his first sleepover at some place besides his grandmothers house. He had a blast with his cousins (Jay Jay, Imani and Jalen). We picked him up after church.

Step

We were at my mom's house waiting for her to come back home and James is playing around in the kitchen when Jess crawls up her one step from the family room to the kitchen.

Jeep

The kids and I are driving home and there is a jeep in front of us. Jimmy says"mom lok its James Ryan Coursey Jr" I laugh and tell him it spells Jeep and it is the letter J

Stockings

This morning when we were leaving the house little Jimmy said to me "mommy where are your socks" (I did not put on my stockings yet). I was so surprised. Too cute! Jess is crawling and geting around everywhere and this i why she fell out of mom's bed yesterday. She was fine though

Jessica is crawling forward and standing/pulling up. YEAH!

Star of the Week

James is star of the week at school tghis week. We shared some of his pictures ad brougt in his favorite snack (chips and I aded graes (hed wanted blueberries, but they wwre too expensive)).

Pulling Up

Jessica pulled up fo the first time today. I'm so excited. I dont know if she ever will crawl forward, but she wants to walk. I think the she does her own version of crawling.

Poop on the floor

Jimmy kept having to go to the bathroom, but did not. So, I was heating up dinner and went to go chec on him ad on the floor I see poop. Great I think, but at least he went a little in the toilet. He then told me that he peed on the floor too. Love cleaning it up. Thank God for tile floors

Update

My little angle Jessica is trying so hard to crawl forward, but backwards it all she moves. She has perfected saying daddy and is eating 2 meals a day well.

76ers

Tonight we went to the 76ers basketball game. Our family went plus mom. Jimmy had such a good time eating nd watching all the game. It's funny toughb Jessica ehad s much fun shefeel asleep in the 4th quarter. Both kids stayed awake all the way to moms house, then were knockex out by the time we got to our house. It was a great time had by all.

Dry all day

James' school felt he was ready for underware all day, so today was the first day he wore underware all day. The best prt was he stayed dry all day. We were so proud of him.
