Potty

I am so happy after a long afternoon and lots of hard work, Jimmy peed in the potty today. I am so happy and proud of this accomplishment. This is just the beginning.

Jess smiles

Today, Imani and I were playing with Jess on her mat and she smiled a big smile. I know I had a chance to play with her without Lil Jimmy all over her and I. She smiled though without having gas it was a true smile. YEEEEAAAHHHH

Follow It

Today, I showed mom, how Jess follows objects (what she should be doing). Although she ois still sleeping a little much for me, she is doing stuff she should be. We do belly time and read books.

No more pacifer

James is finished with his pacifer. Yesterday afternoon he didn't ask for when he was taking his nap, so I didn't give it to him. Then when he went to bed he again no pacifer. This monring we were looking at pictures and one had a pacifer in it and he said "I'm a big boy". He is finished with his pacy (what we call his pacifer). Yeah it was supper easy!

Jess at one month

Jess is doing great. She is a sleeper though and I know I should not complain but sometimes it is a little too much. We go for walks daily with lil Jimmy and when she is awake she loves them (she is nver awake for the whole entire walk though). She is a great baby though. All Jimmy says is is " mommy Jess is crying". When we were eating lunch b he had to leave the table to go in her room and check on her. Too cute. He loves to give her kisses. Jess is beginning to follow voices I find myself staying up later or ignoring Jimmy to get special time with her to read or do belly time. Finding the time to develop her is definitely a challenge.

Jimmy swims

Since Jimmy enjoys swimming so much, we decided to take him to the Plymouth Community Center to go swimming. He had a great time. After that we went to moms and the Mercers came over and we wet to Cracker Barrel for dinner. It was a nice evening. Jimmy feel asleep on the way home.

Swim class

It was like he swims all the time. He really didn't forget anything. Jimmy loves to swim, and for his age he is good at it. I'm glad we made the investment.

Gymnastics

Jimmy had gymnastics for the first time. He had a great time, although he cried int the beginning. James was there with him, so it made it easier on me. I'm glad I signed him up.

Father's Day

Father's Day was great. We took Jess to church for the first time. She slept through most of the service. After service we went to Haibacci and the food was made right in front of us. The big flame scared Jimmy a little, but I still think it was a great experience. After dinner we went to James and Marilyn's for dessert and played some games. It was a really nice day.

Back to work

Today I took Jess into school for my promotion ceremony. She slept through the entire ceremony, which was nice for me and I could enjoy it. I dropped Jimmy off at day care this morning, but when I picked up he was not his happy self. We'll see if he goes the rest of the summer. It was nice going back to work and showing off Jess (because she is so stinking cute) but I ended up having stuff to do. I couldn't believe I had to work on IEPs, but at least they were done and finished! Everyone said that Jess was cute and little (what's new)
