Name/Oh my Gosh

At the dinner table, Jimmy was coloring and trying to write the letter J and he almost wrote it. He then reconized his name when I wrote out James. Jimmy is too funny. I rearranged Jessica's room and when I showed Jimmy he said "Oh my Gosh" with a shocked look on his face. It was so cute. He then started saying " aww shucks" I asked him who taught him to say that. He said " Mom Mom I laughed and told his dad.

Orchards

Today we went to Linvilla Orchards to have some fun. It was a beautiful 80 degree day. When we first when we first arrived James picked out his pumpkin. I think we will make pumpkin seeds out of it. After that we went to the playground. James loved the playground and visited it often. I took the two kids on a train ride. It was fun! We ate so much food our stomachs almost hurt. We had chicken wings, funnel cake, carmel coated apples with sprinkles, and apple cider. After we were finished all of that, we went to the orchards and picked apples. From the apples we picked, James and are are going to make an apple cake. It was a great day had by all. The funniest thing is little James did not take a nap. I thought he would sleep after we dropped off mom, nope. Daddy feel asleep and Jess did, but not James.

Book Store

This morning we went to Barnes and Nobels to buy some books (Uncle James gave us some gift cards). Coming into the store I explained to James the difference between a library and a book store. James played while I searched for some good books. We ended up purchasing a cailou, thomas book and some trains. After we brought the books James said "thank you mommy" The cashier thought that was so nice. I replied "you're welcome honey!" As long as I can I will always buy them books!

Jess 4 Month Appointment

Today, Jess had her 4 month doctors appointment. The doctor was very impressed by her progress. She weighs 13 lbs 2.6 oz (33.64%), she is 2 feet long(34.48%), and her head circumference is 15.98 inches(34.46). She cried a little bit and James never even cried when he got his flu shot.
