Daddy get up

This morning I was feeding James his breakfast and he heard his daddy moan or move upstairs, so he said "Daddy up" I told him "no daddy is still sleeping, he's night night." James then replied "Daddy get up" I started laughing. We then played night night and pretended we were both asleep. Too cute

Adventure Aquarium

James had such a good time today at Adventure Aquarium. He went with his daddy while I was at a play "Race." We all had such a good time doing our different tasks. James was able to touch sting rays and sharks. What a great experience.

"A"

We were watching Sesame Street this morning while he was eating and we were getting dressed and the letter "A" came on the screen and James said "A" I was so excited.

Sing with me

Tonight I started to cry as Jimmy and I were singing "I love you Lord" together. He is so special and it is so sweet to hear him try to sing with his mommy. Hopefully this baby will come into this world loving God and wanting to sing his praises. I called my mom so he could sing to her and he just said " Mom Mom sing Mom Mom and sang a few phases.

January Appt

I was excited that James made it to my doctors appt. He was able to hear a very strong heartbeat. As we were getting ready to go, James told Jimmy "Mommy is going to drive daddy's car is that okay?" He replied "I guess so!" Too funny and too grown.

Potty

James sat on the potty today for the first time. He didn't do anything, but we are just getting him used to knowing what a potty is. He loves the fact that the potty has a fake flush handle and he likes the sound it makes. Maybe that will motivate him to use the potty.

Elmo's pacifer?

Today, Jimmy was so cute. He was playing with his Elmo and tried to give Elmo his pacifer. I told Jimmy that Elmo didn't want it and he didn't need it either. So, Jimmy decided to just put his pacifer in his crib. I was excited! On our way to getting rid of it.

Ultrasound

Today we had the 19 week ultrasound for the baby. Jimmy was so funny; prior to me being taken back he just ran around the waiting room. When we went back, I guess he was confused about why I was lying on a table with something on my stomach, so he was a litle fussy and James calmed him down. Eventually, James got him to go to sleep and mommy and daddy enjoyed seeing our baby girl in action. She was so good and well behaved. At first the technician could not tell the gender becuase the baby is breach. She continued to look and by the end the baby had moved some and she was able to state a girl! I have been thinking girl all along, so this just confirms it!!! The baby at this point weighs about 9 ounces (tiny I know but healthy), heartrate about 153 and she said estimated due date June 6th! We are super excited and thinking of names.
