2 month appt
Jess went to the doctor today and grew a lot. She was great for the doctor and the doctor loved her. Jess weighed 9 lbs 14 oz, (28.34%) 20 3b in (5.28) head 14 3/4 in (21.49 %). This evening I think Jess finally got James' cold ( although we tried to keep him away, but he loves her so much).

Taking out books
I was so proud of James today. We went to the library and he took out 4 books. 3 of the books I picked out and he picked out one book on his own. After the library we go some pretzels and off to the house. When we got home we quickly read all four books. It was very exciting. When his father got home he showed him his books, and they read them together. A very excited child and a very excited mom. I pray he continues to love books and reading.
Earlier today Jess went to the doctor for the bumps on her face and the doctor said ahe just may have sensitive skin and to keep her cool. Hello eletric bill.

Skates
Jimmy went skating for the first time today. His cousin Izrael brought him skates (the kind you wear with sneakers for his birthday). So we decided to try them out. Jimmy had sch a great time. To further demonstrate how to skate his rather put on his roller blades. Then of course he wanted me to put on my blades. I admit I was scared, but I put down the baby and did it. It was fun. I thought I forgot, but I didn't. At one point though I couldn't stop. Of course at the end I fell. At least I was holding Jess (I put her down when I pit on my skates) and I didn't have Jimmy's hand. It was great family moment. Jimmy was all smiles the entire time.

Zoo
Jimmy woke up excited because is dad told him last night if he didn't cry going to bed maybe he would see Jay Jay and Imani, so of course he asked. When they got here we packed James' truck and went to pick up mom (Peaches and Izzy were meeting us at thee zoo. Jimmy smiled all the way to moms house and then to the zoo. When we got to the zoo we had to explain where we were at and he just smiled and had a great time. He had a chance to see all the animals we read about. He loved the giraffes and snakes, the big cats and his pony ride. He had a great time with his cousins and better yet mom had all of her grandchildren there. Jimmy was asleep less than 5 minutes after we left.

Awake
Funny that during my entire nap today, Jess is awake. I was too tired to stay up. Now that I'm up, she's tired. Funny

Library
Today, James had library class. So many problems. First he didn't want to even go in the library. I don't know what he was thinking, but he started crying. I was like come on. I had both kids and he wanted to act like a 2 year old. Well, he is two, but he normally acts like he is 4. So, I get him settled by feeding him (although the sign said no food allowed) and I got him a library card and we went to story time. He did not sit still for story time, but the lady said it was fine because he was acting age appropriately. I was somewhat embarrased. The new plan is to take him to take out some books before next Thursday's class so he can understand what a library is and the purpose

4th of July
The 4th began with Jimmy sleeping until 8:30. It was great! We were up late at my aunts the night before so he was tired. We called Nana tell her Happy Birthday. Two second after we got off the phone he wanted to call her back, so we did and he barely talked. Jimmy is a funny kid. hung out at home for most of the day then around 3:45 we headed to our local parade. It was really nice. Mom met us there, and we ended up buying water ice and pretzels. It was a really good time. When we got home I barbaqued some ribs and chicken made corn on the cob and we ate. Later we went to see our local fireworks. It was really nice. Jimmy was a little scared, but his dad held him.
