I can't read

Tonight after reading Jimmy 4 stories he picks up a book/magazine and starts to read it. He begin reading (pretending) and all of sudden stops. I ask him what is wrong twice because he was just sitting there and he says "Mommy I cannot read" I almost cried. I put him in my lap and told him " Mommy is a reading teacher and I will teach you to read."
