Kicker

Our third doctor's appointment went smoothly except "Kicker" keeps moving every time the doctor tries to hear the heart beat. Dr. Adolfo pressed and moved the Doppler, but could only get small glimpses of the heartbeat. Every time she would hear the heartbeat the baby (now referred to as Kicker) would kick or move away. We must have sat there for 10 minutes before she could isolate "Kicker". She kept saying your baby is a real mover. I kept telling her "Kicker" doesn't like all the poking.

I Feel It

As an expectant mother, you never know what is happening inside your body. I'm about 17 weeks and everything James and I read state that we should be feeling the baby kick and move around any where from 16 to 20 weeks. So, I think I've been feeling something. This morning James attempted to feel what I'm feeling. AND HE DID!!! He felt our little one do something. We were both excited.
