Pictures

The lady at Target got on my nerves and James' nerves today. She kept calling us "sweetie" and stuff. We were made because they were supposed to have balloons and cupcakes, but did not. I think James felt my vibes and would barely smile. We still got his one year picture taken. He is adorable even with a frown!

Roll It

Last night I was putting away some laundry and James is in the babies room with him and I hear James saying "Jen he's rolling it." I'm like what? So after the third time James asks me how long he's been doing this I go in. There is Jimmy rolling his arms! Too cute. I guess he got it from playing patty cake patty cake. I don't know if I've ever seen a 1 year old roll his arms with perfect precision.

Kisses

James is now able to blow you kisses when you ask him. We say "James blow me a kisses and he will do it." He is almost all walking now it is funny watching him; he looks like Herman Munster!

Asleep

James was put in his exersaucer this afternoon so I could get a few things done. He was really fussy and complaining so I gave him his pacifier and next thing I know he is asleep. Yes asleep standing up in his exersaucer.

Bath/Cleaning up

I gave James a bath tonight and 3 times he sticks his face in the water. He then pops up and is like "hey I swallowed water" I just laugh at him because he did it again and again. I tell him to stop but he likes it. Swim lessons here we come.

Oh so people do not think James does not listen he absolutely does. If you now ask him to hand you something he will. I tell him "James hand mommy your food" (the food he throws on the floor) he will do it. I make him clean up some of the mess he makes at mom's during the day!

Penn Relays

Friday and Saturday James and I took the train down to the Penn Relays. I think he was thinking what is this I'm on. He was so cute waving to everyone. We were sitting in the stands behind Cherie (watching Brandon run the 4x100) and James was grabbing people as they were walking up the steps. One time he grabbed someone bag and made them stop. All I could do was say "sorry." He had a good time. He took a nap both day! YEAH!!!

Tooth/Milk

So, I look at James mouth last night and I see a tooth, but it is on the upper part of his mouth. I though the next teeth he would have would be his front two. I guess not.

I am trying to get James to gain more weight by giving him whole milk. Last night I was giving him some milk and had him drink out of a cup. He ended up with a milk mustache!

Accident

So James and I were in an accident today when some guy decides to back up, but did not see me. I beeped my horn but needless to say he did not hear me. My back hurts, but James (THANK GOD) is okay.

Talking to Daddy

It is wonderful that when James was on the phone, Jimmy said "Hi" to him. How adorable.

James had a blast dying Easter eggs. By the end he got the hang of it (just drop the eggs in. I think he would have had more fun just playing with the containers.
