TOOOOO HOT

It was so hot at the cemetery today I had to drive from grave to grave.

Our pool is not open yet, but I put Jimmy and Jay Jay in a little pool. Jimmy had so much fun splashing the water. He ended up trying to put his head under water and was surprised when he got wet.

More Cookouts

Today was a blast at church. I went to the store twice had good praise and worship and then a cookin. We had a cookin because the men barbecued outside and brought the food in.

James had a good time at Uncle Carl and Aunt Helen's. He played with this truck the whole time, but went only to Uncle James, Aunt Marilyn and Mom-Mom. Oh well at least he had a good time.

No!!!

Today, we had a busy day. We all went to James' aunt's apartment for a cookout. Jimmy was fine when we got there because he was sleep no issue's then. Well, he woke up of course and only wanted James and I. He wanted us mainly because he was eating the fruit salad and tearing it UP! When we were getting ready to leave James gave Jimmy to his Aunt Dee and he just cried---Oh no I hope he goes to people!

Long Ride

We had a long day today. James drove with me to Shippensburg University to go to my track meet. He slept all the way there (2hrs) and all the way home (2hrs). He was such a good boy. When I took my mom out shopping later that evening he was antsy probably because he was sick of being confined especially in a car seat.

All night long

Since we have been staying at mom's James has been sleeping with us. Well last night James laid him in his pack and play and he slept all night. I woke up in the morning and was worried he was not breathing becuase he did not make a sound. Of course this lasted until James was getting ready for work. BUT I fed him and back to sleep (this time in the bed).

Daycare--Trial

I dropped James off this morning for a 1/2 day of daycare. He cried when I put him down and then I moved him to the area where the other kids were and he was fine. I went out to the car to get his diapers/wipes/etc... and when I came back in he saw me and started to wine. I moved out the way and he was fine. I'm soooooooo sad, but did not cry.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY

What a day. James' first birthday. The morning began with us having pancakes for breakfast. Since it was going to be in the high 80s, I was like we need some shade for people. So at 8 am the baby and I went to my mom's house to find her gazebo. I found it! YEAH Well when I got home to put it up that was a chore. Needless to say James was walking around the backyard eating dirt while James and I put it up. By the time the party really got started it was up correct thanks to Uncle Shelton and the other guys. Greg asked did we read the directions. Of course I did (sort of). James took a little nap during the day, but just a small one. I was surprised that he was not more cranky. He was a good boy. He had tons of fun playing in his backyard with friends and family. The funniest thing was after we sung happy birthday and I gave him his cake, he dug right in! Then I said "James can mommy have some?" He stuck a hand full of cake in my face. It was PRICELESS! The kids had a blast though. The girls really loved the new fad (Zany Bands--bracelets that when you take off are shapes). They played wiffle ball and the pinata. Everyone got a turn to break it but the thing would not break. With 7 kids trying after two turns it finally broke. It was a blast
On another note, James was getting the baby to repeat words. He started with monopoly- Jimmy said nothing. He then said another word nothing from Jimmy. James then said "James say Afghanistan" James said "Afghanistan." My uncle and cousins were crackin' up! I think he was just too tired to know what he was doing.
