Never realized

I never realized until today how nice it is to have a day off of work. Jimmy slept from about 9:30 to 5. I know it's a long time without eating, but he did it. I was so happy and proud of him. I get to spend the entire day with him. The news gets even better, James is off today too, so it's the three of us sleeping in and catching up on some much needed rest!

Back to Work

So, I'm back to work and I miss Jimmy already. I know he is in the best hands ever, but I wish I could bring him with me. Don't get me wrong I love the time with him, but I also love making a difference in students' lives. I prayed last night that I would be able to make a signifcant difference in the lives of those I teach this year!

Little Cousin

Today was the first day Jimmy met his little cousin Isreal. As my mom held both babies Jimmy stared at Isreal like who are you and why is my mom mom holding you. I had an opportunity to talk to Isreal, and he just listened just like Jimmy does to me. It makes me miss having a baby that tiny and light. No, everyone no more children now. We enjoyed time together as a family. I pray they are close cousins especially since they are about one month apart.

Nana

So, Jimmy finally met his nana (James' mom). We met her at the airport because she was getting a connecting flight to Fort Myers to spend time with her family and friends. She was so excited to see him she screamed. It was a reaaly nice moment for them!

I knew it!!!

So, James has ringworm. How does a 16 week old get it? I don't know. He might have caught it from his cousin, but he had it longer ( I think). Oh well we're treating it and we will move on because this is just the beginning. He was so sweet at the doctor's office. He talked and I mean talked to the nurse the entire time she was examining him. She said "You can tell he is loved!"

Crying

I don't know why, but Jimmy seems to be crying more and more these days. Maybe he senses that mommy is going back to work in 2 weeks. He'll be safe with my mom though!

Poconos

We really enjoyed our time in the Poconos. James was able to get some much needed rest while Jimmy got to spend quality time with his cousin and mom mom. The weather was beautiful and I even went shopping ( and brought stuff). It was a really nice time with the family.

What a Shower

Today was my nephew's baby shower. James and I got there on time as usual and had a nice time with family. Isreal will be coming home shortly and hopefully Jimmy and him will be close cousins and able to have a wonderful relationship. Jimmy is also 3 months today. So, to celebrate we watched a movie at my mom's house. We watched Lakeview Terror (I think that's the name). It was really good!
