Wipe

Tonight in his bath when I was getting ready to take him out, Jimmy decided he need to wipe his penis and butt butt. I'm trying to get him to understand the function of both so we can move onto potty training. It was a funny moment! I guess he wanted to make sure he was clean.

Christmas tree

We put up our Christmas tree today and what a project. Jimmy decided that he wanted to help and of course we encouraged him, but instead of putting the decorations on the tree he decided to throw the balls at his father. This year I purchased all new shatterproff balls for that reason (I'm glad I did). He had a great time. Mom kept laughing at him because as soon as I would put something on the tree, he would take it off! Gotta love 18 month children.

The picture is of Saturday morning when we were getting the decorations to place outside. Jimmy can literally sit on the deer!

Not a mommy's boy!

So much for Jimmy being a momma's boy. Tonight James and I were both putting him to bed. James was feeding him cereal while I read "I know my daddy loves me." After they were finished eating their cereal, Jimmy cried and kept pulling the book away from me. I thought it was because he wanted to read another story; no he wanted James to read to him. How funny. Then when I just sat there he just stared at me. I finally said "goodnight" and Jimmy replied "goodnight." TOOOO Funny and TOOOO Grown!

TOO Cute

Last night I locked James in his room while I went downstairs to finish laudry. When I left him he was playing on the floor. When I came back in his room he was in his rocking chair reading a book! All I could think was too cute! (and smart)!!!

Exhausted

Between James and my mom I don't know who wears me out more shopping. James had a blast at Kohls this morning. He thought that he could play with all the toys and was mad that he couldn't take them out of the box. I did buy him some books one being "I know my daddy loves me". After shopping we had lunch at mom's and I made him take a nap before our afternoon adventure at the Norristown Zoo. He had a great time; although the jaguar started roaring and it was a sight to hear. James was fascinated. It was a great day had by all!

Sports Guys

James is our little sports guy! He loves standing by the door and taking pictures!

Election 2010

Jimmy voted twice today. He voted in the morning with mommy and in the evening with daddy. I think James allowed him to press the buttons, I know I did. we will both encourage him to vote because our ancestors died to be able to vote!

Since I was off today, Jimmy and I spent the day together. We went out for breakfast which was nice just the two of us. Later in the day he had his flu shot. At least it is off my To Do list!!!
